The Titanic’s Last Surviving Lunch Menu Is Up for Sale
And it tells the sordid story of a first-class rescued passenger
There are just two or three lunch menus that made it off the Titanic, which sank in the North Atlantic more than a century ago, and the last available for sale is going on the auction block September 30, the Associated Press reports. The curator behind the sale, Lion Heart Autographs, believes it will fetch between $50,000 and $70,000—a steal, really. In 2012, another surviving lunch menu sold for about $120,000. Read more…
