PADA (Professional Autograph Dealers Association) is an international organization of nearly 50 autograph and manuscript dealers that promotes the highest professional standards in the field. It was co-founded in 1995 by David Lowenherz, president of Lion Heart Autographs, who became the organization’s first president.
The Manuscript Society is an international organization of individuals, dealers and institutions interested in the collection, preservation, use, and enjoyment of autographs and manuscripts. Lion Heart Autographs has been a member since Lion Heart’s founding in 1977.
Located in New York City, the Grolier Club is America’s oldest, most prestigious and largest society for bibliophiles and enthusiasts in the graphic arts. David Lowenherz has been a member since 1995 and his Robert Frost collection was exhibited there in 1999.
The Universal Autograph Collectors Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the education of the autograph collector. Founded in 1965 by a Long Island group of collectors, the UACC has grown and developed into one of the premier collector’s organizations in the world today. It is the largest autograph organization in the world with members in over 20 different countries and is the publisher of The Pen and Quill.
